Happy Border

De titel van een Europese samenwerking tussen twee culturele organisaties uit Frankrijk en België: Brugge Plus vzw en Le Channel, scène nationale de Calais. Beide organisaties willen originele, artistieke banden smeden tussen twee verschillende culturen en taalgebieden door een grensoverschrijdende samenwerking gedurende vier jaar ; van 1 november 2009 tot 31 oktober 2013. Een avontuur voor zowel de Franse als de Belgische bevolking die dicht bij elkaar wonen maar eigenlijk verre buren zijn. Een project met twee hoofdthema’s, straattheater en vuurspektakels, en onderverdeeld in vier grote acties, waarvan u hieronder een korte samenvatting kunt lezen.

Titre d’un projet européen qui unit deux structures culturelles par-delà la frontière franco-belge : Brugge Plus et Le Channel, scène nationale de Calais. Vœu d’un lien joyeux, artistique et inventif entre deux structures et territoires singuliers, de culture et de langue différentes. Projet de partager, d’un territoire à l’autre, des expériences artistiques variées et de les enrichir par une collaboration transfrontalière pendant une durée de quatre ans,du 1er novembre 2009 au 31 octobre 2013. Aventure qui s’adresse aux populations d’ici et d’ailleurs, voisins de près et de loin. Projet qui s’articule autour des arts de la rue et des arts du feu, pensé en quatre grandes actions, dont voici l’essentiel.

The name of a European cooperation between two cultural organizations of France and Belgium : Brugge Plus NPO and Le Channel, scène nationale de Calais. Both want to connect two different cultures and languages in an artistic and creative way. The goal of the project is to exchange artistic experience between two regions and to enrich the organizations by initiating a cross-border cooperation of four years, from 1 November 2009 until 31 October 2013. It’s an adventure for both the French and the Belgian people who live close to one another but who are actually distant neighbours. The project consists of two main themes: street theater and pyrotechnic spectacles and it is subdivided into four big actions of which you can find a short summary below.
